Irene M. (Bastarache) Comeau 1932 - 2003 LEOMINSTER, MA - Irene (Bastarache) Comeau, 71, died Monday, August 4, 2003 in LaChance Nursing Home, Gardner, MA after a brief illness. Born March 24, 1932 in Leger's Corner (Dieppe), she was the daughter of the late Alyre and the late Evangeline (née: LeBlanc) Bastarache. She is survived by one son, Gary of Fitchburg, MA; four brothers, Rene of Leominster, Yvon of Moncton, Thomas and George, both of Dieppe; two sisters, Dora Gosselin of Leominster, MA and Rita Hebert of Moncton. She was predeceased by three sisters, Maria, Jeannette and infant Therese and by four brothers, Eli (March 2003), Alban, Edgar and Francois. A funeral Mass was celebrated from Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Leominster, MA, on Saturday, August 9, 2003. Interment in NotreDame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at a later date.
