Donald W. Ferris SUSSEX, NB - The death of Donald Whitfield Ferris of Sussex occurred on August 14, 2003. Born at Grand Lake, NB on January 7, 1922 a son of the late Ensley and Pearl Ferris. Don worked for the NB Telephone Company for 41 years. He loved his family and Mandy dearly, was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting. Donald is survived by his wife, Jean (Delaney) Ferris; daughter, Patricia Rafuse (Ken) of Moncton and son, Wayne (Pat) Ferris of Calgary, AB; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Florence Jones of Kars, Leona Williams of Saint John and brother, Ottie Ferris (Alice) of Grand Lake, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Ethel Barton and Viola Vail. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506-433-2133) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Anglican Church, Sussex, with The Reverend David Barrett officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
