Alban LeBlanc Alban LeBlanc, 77, of Grand-Barachois passed away Sunday, August 17, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born March 18, 1926 in Barachois, he was the son of the late Sifroi, and Herminie "Minie" (Després) LeBlanc. He was a retired fisherman. He is survived by two daughters, Lima Vautour (Fred) of Saint John, Jacinthe LeBlanc of Moncton; three sons, Lucien (Sharon) of Saint John, Armand (Georgina), and André (Wendy) of Grand-Barachois; three sisters, Dora Thibodeau, Delphine Landry, and Angela LeBlanc all of Shediac; two brothers, Aurele (Dora) of Cap-Pelé, Léo-Paul (Marie) of Moncton; five grandchildren, Denny, Amber, Brian, Martine, Symone; two great-grandchildren, Alex, Sandrina, several nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Yvonne (Boudreau) LeBlanc; sisters, Lydia LeBlanc, Rita Babineau; a brother, Alias, and a grandson, Marcel. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday from 7-9 PM, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Wednesday from 9:30 until time of departure (10:35). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at St-Henri Church, GrandBarachois. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
