Royden Edward Thomas Nickerson MAPLE RIDGE, NB - Royden (Roy) E.T. Nickerson, age 43 of Maple Ridge, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 22, 2003 at his home. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Marshall and Anna (Myshrall) Nickerson. Roy was a Sales Representative with Rogers Media. He coached Minor Hockey in Moncton for a number of years. Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, driving his wheeler and spending time with his family and friends. Roy is survived by his wife, Deanna (Blaney) Nickerson; two daughters, Terri-Ann Nickerson and Samantha Nickerson both of Riverview; two sons, Rick Nickerson and Nicholas Nickerson both of Riverview; one step-daughter, Darci Annis, Fredericton; three step-sons, Dave Annis (Carrie), Moncton, Joe Annis, Fredericton and Matthew Annis, Maple Ridge; one step-granddaughter, Kayla Annis, Moncton; four sisters, Ann Frizzell (Lea), Paula Stewart (Darren), both of Fredericton, Joan Henry (John) and Neenie Stewart (Richard), both of Miramichi; one brother, Danny Nickerson, Miramichi; his step-mother, Maria Nickerson, Miramichi; two step-sisters, Maureen Huzarski (Terry), Ottawa, Ontario and Sharon Underhill, Hull, Quebec; one step-brother, Doug Underhill (Barb), Miramichi; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family invites relatives and friends to Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic for visiting hours Saturday, August 23, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Norman Whitney officiating. Interment will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garth Zwicker, Jim Patterson, Bruce Williams, Kevin Gallant, Dale Russell and Skip Foster.
