Michael J. MacMillan Michael J. MacMillan, 62, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, August 27, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in New Waterford, NS, son of the Late Angus and Agnes (Boudreau) MacMillan. Michael was a retired School Teacher and Administrator at Birchmount School, Moncton and Salisbury Middle School. He dedicated 29 years of his life to education and to his students. He received his early education in Cape Breton and was a graduate of St. Thomas University, Fredericton, a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and a devoted member of the choir. Mike enjoyed golfing, wine making, the Internet and barbecuing in all kinds of weather. There was nothing he enjoyed more than making people laugh. Michael will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Lillian (MacDonald) MacMillan: daughter, Andree MacMillan (Steven Watt), St. John's, NF; sister, Sita Burke (Gary), New Waterford, NS; brother, Don, Barrie, ON; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Friday 7-9. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Saturday, August 30, 2003, 9:30am. Rev.
