Vaughn (Mac) Austin Woodworth 1924 - 2003 EDGETT'S LANDING, NB - Vaughn (Mac) Austin Woodworth, 79, of Edgett's Landing passed away on October 10, 2003 at The Moncton City Hospital after a lengthy illness. Vaughn (Mac) was born in Hillsborough on June 23, 1924, the son of the late Archie and Hazel (Garland) Woodworth. He attended the Valley Baptist Church. Mac worked for the Canadian Gypsum Company for 32 years and also was a school bus driver for many years. He also enjoyed the time spent on his farm looking after a few cattle when he was able. Mac always enjoyed a good joke and loved teasing the students he drove to and from school in his bus driving days. He cherished the times spent with his family and was very thankful for the way his family was there for him during his illness. Mac had a way about him that made him very special, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife, Joan (Wilson) Woodworth of Edgett's Landing; his two sons, Dennis Woodworth (Charlene) of Hillsborough and Donald Woodworth (Gail) of Riverview; his precious grandaughterm, Kelly; special sister-in-law, Rowena Woodworth of Hillsborough and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by three brothers, Russell, Ivan and Eldon. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Kevin Mahoney Officiating. Internment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing.
