Ernest Surette SHEDIAC, NB - Ernest Surette, 94, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Cocagne, passed away Saturday October 11, 2003 at his residence. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late John, and Agnès (Breau) Surette. He was a retired fisherman, and is survived by his wife, Éveline (Poirier) of Shediac; two sons: Jean of Halifax, Henri of Florida; three sisters: Léa Martin , and Anita Babineau both of Cocagne, Imelda Surette of Québec; two brothers: Robert (Edmée), and René (Émerise) both of Cocagne, three granddaughters: Diane, Renée, Michelle, several nieces, and nephews. He's predeceased by his grandsons Françis and Johnny. Remains resting at St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne,Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be held at 11 AM Wednesday October 15, 2003 at St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne,. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
