Regina Landry 1928-2003 Regina Landry, wife of the late Robert Landry of Collette passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 18, 2003, after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 75. Born on October 17, 1928 in Collette, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alex and Edessa (Hache) Doucette. She is survived by four sisters, Alma Pitre (Felix) of Leominster, Mass., Elda Doucette (Rheal) of Collette, Emelia Martin of Moncton, Anita Martin of Moncton; three brothers, Gerard Doucette (Rosalie) of Leominster, Mass., Medric Doucette (Cecile) of Leominister Mass., Eugene Doucette (Lena) of Collette; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Regina was predeceased by one sister, Roselda; two brothers, Antoine and Eloie; and brother-in-law, Joseph Martin. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Notre Dame de Fatima Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Collette on Monday, October 20, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, October 21, 2003, from 9:30 am until time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at 11 am from Notre Dame de Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Collette with Father Denis Belliveau officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
