Mrs. Joan Cripps MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Joan Cripps, 62, of Nicol Street, Miramichi, NB, passed away at The Moncton City Hospital on October 20, 2003. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Hayward and Mabel Herbert. She was a homemaker and mother and was a member of St. Michael's Parish. She is survived husband, Lou Cripps; daughters Cynthia Gillis of Saint John, NB, Heather Gallant (Rod) of Stewiacke, NS, Ashlee Cook (Harold) of Halifax, NS; four grandchildren Alyssa, Haley, Dayna and Baby Cook. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, NB on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
