Irene Beers CALGARY, AB - Irene Beers passed away after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family, on October 19, 2003 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Carman of 50 years; daughter Susan (Jim); son, Graham (Deb); grandson, Ryan; and brother, Royce (Nita). Irene was predeceased by her parents, Handford and Clara Mills; brothers, Newton, Jenner and Winfield Mills. She was employed by NB Tel, and left in 1961 to raise her family, who meant everything to her. Irene was a talented and loving homemaker, crafter and artist. She moved to Calgary in 1987 to be near her family. A visitation was held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 7016 Farrell Rd., SE, Calgary on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from 7-9:00 pm. A Memorial Service was held at Northmount Baptist Church, 451 Northmount Dr. NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 2:00 pm. "If you look for beauty, you will find it.
