Peacefully at the Western Hospital on Friday, February 20, 2009, with the love and support of her family of Mabel Lynn Mallett, beloved wife of Ernest Mallett of St. Louis, age 53 years. Loving mother to Kelly (Jarrod Smith) and Nicholas. Born in Alberton on December 22, 1955, she was the daughter of Margaret (nee Williams) and the late Howard Adams of Elmsdale. Loving sister to Donald (Susan) Adams and Kevin (Carol) Adams of Elmsdale. Dear sister-in-law to George (Evelyn) Mallett of St. Louis, Austin (Lorraine) Mallett of Toronto, Anna (Emanuel) Arsenault of St. Louis, Stephen Mallett of St. Louis, Bill (Irene) Mallett of Sudbury, Ont., Phillip (Violet) Mallett of Glovertown, N.L., Florence (Clifford) Martin of Stratford, James (Linda) Mallett of Woodvale, Theresa (Albert) Thomas of Charlottetown, Patrick (Marie) Mallett of St. Louis, Pauline Clark of Summerside. She is also survived by her uncles, aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant daughter Penny, father Howard as well as her father- and mother-in-law Wilfred and Roseanna Mallett. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours were Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday morning from the Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery.
