Thelma Christensen 1920 - 2003 The death of Thelma Christensen, widow of John, of MacLean Cross Road Irishtown, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 24, 2003. Born in Moncton on September 9, 1920, she was the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Hannington) MacQuarrie. After raising her family she had a second career as a hairdresser working both in Moncton and at home. She had attended St. David's United Church. She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Odessa) of Irishtown, Ralph (Glenna) of Oshawa, Paul (Anna) of Orono, ON and Shane of Toronto; three granddaughters, Sandra, Patricia and Christina; one great granddaughter, Hayley. She is also survived by her brothers , Earl of Moncton, Ronald of Saint John; and Ivan of Toronto; her sisters, Beulah Cassidy of Moncton, Eileen Eagles of Salisbury and Kathleen Skidd of Irishtown. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, John; sisters, Gladys Lutes and Mildred Kelly. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road Moncton with visiting hours on Tuesday October 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 29, at 2 pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception in the FamilyReception Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Thelma's memory may be made to thememorial of the donor's choice. www.fairhavenfh.com
