Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, William John Butt, aged 90 years. Born in Crocker's Cove, Carbonear. A long time member of Masonic Lodge Tasker. Son of the late Frances (Pike) and Joseph Butt. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy (nee Adcock); his children: Christopher (Debbie and son Robert), Karen and Lawrence (Valerie); grandson Colin; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 10-12 noon. Funeral service from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. No flowers by request.
