Mrs. Doris Helen Hansen ANCASTER, ON - The death of Mrs. Doris Helen Hansen wife of the late Hubert Hansen of Tranquility Place, Ancaster, Ontario occurred Tuesday November 4, 2003 at The Meadows Nursing Facility in Ancaster Ontario, at the age of 91. Born in Port Elgin, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas "DeWolf" and Edith Murray Read. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Donna) of Ancaster, ON and Ralph of Oakville, ON; one sister, Verna Fitzpatrick of Brantford, ON; three grandchildren, Karen, Todd and Colin and two - great grandchildren Sarah and Robert and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Hubert she is predeceased by one brother Charles and three sisters, Emma, Edith, and Eva. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, on Sunday, November 9, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. James and St. John United Church, Miramichi on Monday at 2 PM with Rev. Ronald Feltmate officiating. Burial will follow in the Miramichi Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. James and St. John United Church, The Canadian Red Cross, The Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
