Gerald Legere PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Gerald Legere, age 85, of Port Elgin occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2003. Born in Port Elgin, he was a son of the late Alphie and Mary (Forest) Legere. Gerald was a veteran of WW II, a member of the Cape Tormentine Legion and a member of St. Clement's Church, Port Elgin. Gerald will be sadly missed by three sons, Terry and Geoffrey (Tina ), both of Port Elgin and Paul, Westlock AB; three daughters, Linda (Gerald) Buole, Welland, ON, Rose-Marie (Neil) Bain, Westlock, AB and Jacqueline (Keith Giles) Lamoureaux, Castle Downs, AB; 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two sisters, Amelia, Vancouver and Elsie, Port Elgin and a brother Cyril (Pauline) of Moncton. He was predeceased by his wife, Ada in 2003; a son, Frederick in 1952; by brothers, Fred, George and Albert; sisters, Katherine, Beatrice, Rosie and Delphine. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin (364-1300) with visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 5, 2003 at 11 am at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin, Father Alban Thibodeau officiating.
