George Walker Fowler BURLINGTON, ON - George Walker Fowler passed away at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington ON, on Friday, December 26, 2003 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee MacLeod). Loving father of David and his wife, Pat of Burlington. Cherished grandfather of Shawn (Carmen), Trevor and Ryan. He is survived by his brother, Jack (Joyce) Fowler, and sister Christine Fowler; brothers-in-law, Donald MacLeod and Sterling MacLeod; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Thompson, all of Moncton, NB and Babe Fowler of Saint John, NB. He is predeceased by his three sisters, Jean, Margaret and Nancy and three brothers, Alex, Dave and Bill. George was the founder of George Fowler Construction Ltd. Cremation. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington, ON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 6 to9 pm where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 1 pm.
