We, the family of the late Rosemarie (Dray) Pomroy, would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone for helping us get through this time of sadness. We were truly touched by all the people who brought food to the house or the funeral home, phoned, visited or sent cards, flowers, or donations, or sent condolences on Maher's Funeral Home website. A special thanks to all those who travelled from St. John's, Marystown, Harbour Grace, and any other distant place to visit the funeral home or attend the funeral. Thank you to Paul and Greg Maher for their kindness and professionalism at such a trying time. Thank you to the St. Anne's Sodality for leading us in the Rosary at the Funeral Home and for hosting the Reception after the Funeral. To the Dunville Bereavement Team, especially Lorraine Wadman, thank you so much for making the planning of the services as easy as possible. Thank you to all who took part in the Funeral Home Services and the Funeral itself, especially the choir and Father Jerome Hann. We would like to give a very special thanks to Father Bill Pomroy (our uncle) who was the first person Mom wanted to see when she was diagnosed and the first person we called on from the hospital to come and visit mom and help us deal with the final diagnosis. Father Bill also participated in the Funeral Mass and spoke such kind words in his beautiful homily. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thanks also to Father Francis Roche who was so kind to all of the family at the hospital. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. Clare's who took such good care of Mom when she was diagnosed last year. Thanks to all the nurses and doctors at the Health Sciences Centre who made our final few days with mom as comfortable and dignified as possible. We will be forever grateful for the help and guidance of mom's own personal nursing team - Annie, Jacinta, Trudy, Gloria, Beverly, Evelyn, Wanda, and all the nurses at the Placentia Hospital. Mom thought you were all her angels and you were all so good to her. A special thank you from Nina, Frank, Frankie and Madison to the Healey's who made sure we didn't have any worries about the children all during mom's time in hospital, the wake, and the funeral. We'll never forget it. And last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank our Dray and Pomroy families and extended families, especially Mom's & Dad's brothers and sisters and their families. We would have never gotten through this ordeal without all your support.
"A Mother's Love is a Blessing"
Vince, Nina, Carol Anne, Frank, Les, Madison & Frankie
