Eva Babineau 1917 - 2004 ALDOUANE, NB - Eva Babineau, 86, wife of the late Lucien Babineau, passed away at her daughter's residence, where she was residing, on January 7, 2004. Born in St. Louis de Kent, she was the daughter of the late Honoré and Eléonore (Daigle) Landry. She had worked for Reidpath's and later for Paturel of Shediac. She attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto, where she attended Mass every Saturday evening up to the age of 83. She was a member of the Richibucto Golden Age Club. She is survived by two daughters, Rose-Eva LeBlanc (Maurice), Aldouane and Patricia Babineau, St. Louis de Kent; five sons, Roger (Lucille), Moncton, Yvon (Sharon), Moncton, Valmond (Betty), Moncton, Camille (Gerarda), Richibucto, Claude (Noella), Aldouane; one sister, Mélina Gallant (Antoine), Saint John; one sister-in-law, Alexina Landry (late Lionel); St. Louis de Kent; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Mom is also survived by a good friend who worked for her, Aline Hebert of St. Charles. Very devoted and took very good care of her. She was predeceased by a sister, Eveline Lamothe (Laurent); and by brother Lionel Landry of St. Louis de Kent. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 7 - 9pm and Friday from 2 - 4 and 7- 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Saturday, January 9, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery in the spring.
