Norman O. Jones 1920 - 2004 Norman O. Jones, 83, formerly of Shediac Road, passed away at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Sunday, January 11, 2004. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late G. Herbert and Nellie Pearl (Lockhart) Jones. He was employed for many years with Co-op Atlantic. He attended Harrisville United Church. Norman volunteered much time to his community and he was a very active volunteer for many years with Lakeside Cemetery. He was also a member of the Lions Senior Citizens. He is survived by four daughters, Barbara Ryan and her husband, Jack of Moncton, Linda Mitchell and her husband, Cecil of Salisbury, Ella Surette and her husband, Raymond of Moncton, Nora Crawford and her husband, Rick of Dartmoutrh, NS; one son, Dennis Jones and his wife, Allana of Riverview, 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Nellie Hanley of Moncton and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Geneva (Melvin) Jones in 1989; a son, George in 1971; a sister, Ella Jones in 1940 and by a brother, Walter in 1944. Visitation is at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Monday, January 12, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. Brett Anningson officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in the spring.
