Odila Nowlan Odila Nowlan, 88, widow of the late Thomas Nowlan (1993), of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of SainteMarie de Kent passed away at Villa du Repos, Moncton on Sunday, January 11, 2004 after a brief illness. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB on April 17, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Phillipe Léger and the late Elise Melanson. She was a housewife. She attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. She is survived by two daughters, Jeannette Johnson (Gerard) of New London, NH, Lucie Bourque (Omer) of Lunenburg, Mass; one son, Jean-Paul of Winthrop, Mass; one sister, Jeannine Richard of Moncton; five brothers, Leonide (Rita), Emile (Girène), Yvon (Stella), all of Moncton, Paul (Rita) of Cap Cod, Mass, Léo (Eva) of Toronto; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sisters, Marie, Anita, Emma; four brothers, Néri, Auguste, Zoel, Antoine. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd, Bouctouche with visitation on Wednesday, January 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
