Sarah Sweeney SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Sarah Sweeney, age 81, formerly of Melrose, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville on Tuesday, January 13, 2004. Born in Ireland, she immigrated to Canada with her parents, the late Patrick and Mary McCaffery. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Francis of Malden and Joseph (Patricia), of Malden; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild; two sisters, Sister Josephine McCaffery, Edmonton, AB and Margaret Ward of New York, NY. She is predeceased by her husband, Bradley; one daughter, Lucy; and two brothers, Charles and Hugh. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin (364-1300) with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held from St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 16, 2004 at 11 am, Father Alban Thibodeau officiating.
