Darrel Adelbert Carlin 1947-2004 HILLSBOROUGH, NB - Darrel Adelbert Carlin, 56, of Hillsborough passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the Moncton City Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Surry, NB on March 23, 1947, the son of the late Adelbert and Mary (Jonah) Carlin. He was retired from the CN. Darrel loved the outdoors; walking in the woods; gardening; getting a load of wood with "Old Blue" and his afternoon chats with his pals. He will be deeply missed by his son, Craig Carlin (Tammy) of Vernon, BC; his special friend, Theresa Schram of Moncton; and his many friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Donna Price. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2004 at 2pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Internment will be held in the River View Cemetery, Hopewell Cape in the spring. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
