Gontran C. Duguay 1927-2004 Shediac, NB - Gontran C. Duguay, 76, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Boudreau West passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the Villa Providence. Born in Cap-Pelé, March 28, 1927, he was the son of the late Joseph Duguay and the late Elisa Prevost. He was a past employee with Paturel's and Hub Meat Packers. He is survived by his wife Lina (Melanson) Duguay of Boudreau West; a daughter Lise Duguay (Georges Vautour) of Scoudouc; a son Michel (Claire) of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.; two sisters, Yolaine Léger (Ulric) and Mireille Bourque (Dismas) all of Cap-Pelé; two grandchildren, Shawn and Tara and one great grandson, Austin. He was predeceased by three brothers, Alcide, Yveton and France Duguay. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2004 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.
