Brent C. Jay MAPLE GLEN, NB - The death of Brent C. Jay, husband of Sheila (Jardine) Jay of Maple Glen, NB occurred at his residence, Friday morning, age 59 years. Born in Mt. Stewart, PEI, the son of Basil Jay, Miramichi and the late Doris (Russell) Jay. He was owner and operator of Jay's Welding & Mack Truck Services & Parts Ltd, Maple Glen, NB. He was a member of Maple Glen United Church. Besides his father and wife, he is survived by five daughters, Charlotte Clark (Elmer), Donna (Lindsey), Brenda (Sterling Richardson), Christine O'Neill (Raymond), Ellen (Andy Goodfellow); sisters, Betty Clancy (James), Lynn MacKay (James), Gail Hartery (Lyman); grandchildren, Jesse, Michael, Jessica, Mitchell, Caryn, Lindsey, Joshua. He was predeceased by his mother and one brother, Wayne. Mr. Brent C. Jay is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King Geo. Hwy with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm from St. James and St. John's United Church, Newcastle with Rev. Sandrabelle Rogers officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Glen Cemetery.
