Joseph Daigle 1921 - 2004 LAKETON, NB - Joseph Daigle, 82, husband of the late Dorina (Hébert) Daigle, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday January 19, 2004. Born in Laketon, NB he was the son of the late Joseph Daigle and Sarah (Vautour) Daigle. Before his retirement he worked in the woods as a Foreman and was also a Foreman at the Kouchibouguac National Park. He is survived by seven sons, Douglas (Denise) of St. Charles, Roy of Laketon, Donald (Isabelle) of Aldouane, Guy (Anne) of St. Louis de Kent, Leemond of Laketon, Léonard (Rosella) of St. Louis de Kent, Richard (Thérèse) of Laketon; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Machett of Newcastle; several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Dorina; four sisters, Gladys, Mammy, José, Nora and two brothers, Edmond and Bill. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday noon until time of funeral. Remains are resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent. Funeral Mass will be held from the St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church , St. Louis de Kent on Friday, January 23, 2004 at 2:00 pm.Interment will be held in the St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kouchibouguac in the spring.
