Philias J. Landry Philias J. Landry, 91, of Moncton passed away Thursday January 22, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of the late Denis, and Marguerite (Gallant) Landry. He was a miner, and woodsman before his retirement. He enjoyed playing darts, and BINGO. Philias also was a past member of the CNR War Vets. He is survived by his nine children, Dorine (Lloyd), Noëlla (Andy), Fern (Gary), Audrey, Gloria, Rose-Marie (Larry), Eric, Emile, Harold (Janice); a sister Euphémie Gallant; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday January 26, 2004 at Frenette Funeral Home. Reception to follow.
