Bella Melanson
Bella Melanson Bella Melanson, 97, widowed of Alphée Melanson (1989) of Villa du Repos, Moncton passed away at the residence on Friday, January 23, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Paul de Kent, NB on September 27, 1906, she was the daughter of the late David LeBlanc and Marie Cormier. She was a housewife and was a member of Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church and a member of Saint-Paul Golden Age Club. She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Maillet of Moncton, Annette Cormier (René) of Westminster, Mass; three sons, Ronald (Marie), Jean-Marie (Anna), both of Moncton, Léonide (Flovilla) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one son, Aldéric; five sisters, Évangéline, Ida, Rosalie, Ainée, Agnès; two brothers, Levy, Alyre. Resting at Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room with visitation on Monday, January 26 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2004 at Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church at 7:00 pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
