Omer Gallant 1910-2004 SHEDIAC, NB - Omer Gallant, 93, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Sandford, Maine passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the residence. Born February 14, 1910, Shediac River, he was the son of the late Johnny Gallant and the late Alice Poirier. He is survived by a daughter Gloria Gallant (Raymond LeBlanc) of Shediac Road; three sons, Emile (Mary) of Alfred, Maine, Bernard (Barbara) of Meadowbrook, René (Myrna) of Dieppe and 11 grandchildren, Bernard, Martin, Tammy, Joey, David, Jill, Lisa, Diane, Johnny, Julie, Christine and nine great grandchildren.He was predeceased by his wife Florida (Surette) Gallant; two brothers, Philippe, Emile and two sisters, Bella and Régina. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. There is no visitation on the day of funeral service.
