J. Claude Callaghan 1932 - 2004 MEADOWBROOK, NB - J. Claude Callaghan,of Meadowbrook, NB, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, January 30, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Born in Tidnish, PEI on April 28, 1932 he was the son of the late John and Georgina (Gallant) Callaghan. He was a former employee of Hub Meat Packers in Moncton. He was a member of The Calhoun United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Patricia Atkinson; daughters, Bonita Callaghan at home, Ellen (Robert) Atkinson of Calhoun, Myrna (Dollard) Cormier of Memramcook; sons, Carl (Verna) of Calhoun, Christopher (Melinda) of Lakeville; sisters, Gertrude (Fred) Brown of Ontario, Irene (Al) McPhee of Moncton, Shirley Gallant of Ontario, Joyce Taylor of Calhoun, Shirley (Lester) Mercer of Norton, Anne Ferguson of French Village, and Grace Spight of Waterford; brothers, John (Sharon) of Norton, and Wilfred (Joyce) of Ontario, also by 10 grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Richard in 1995, and step mother Lily. The memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel 171 Lutz st. on Monday, February 2, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Branscombe Officiating. Interment will be in Calhoun United Baptist Church Cemetery in the spring.
