Madeline M. Lewis Madeline M. Lewis, 89, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 2, 2004. Born in Moncton, daughter of the late Luther and Edna (Steeves) Jones. Madeline was a member of West Lane Baptist Church, Dominion Life Member of Baptist Women's Missionary Society. Madeline loved to garden, work in her flowers and enjoyed her home. Madeline will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marilyn Colpitts (Richard), Moncton; son, Herman (Carol), Salisbury; grandchildren, Brent, Vaughn (Charlotte), Craig, Stephen, Susan Wilson (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Alec, Morgan, Andrew, MacKenzie, Brett, Sam. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Harold Lewis (1989); brothers, Watson, Gerald; sisters, Thelma, Lena, Audrey, Marjorie. Madeline was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, February 5, 3:30 pm. Pastor Scott Ryder officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
