Joyce M. McConnell R.N. 1948 - 2004 Joyce M. McConnell R.N., 55, of Dundas, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 2, 2004. Born in Amherst, NS. She is the daughter Marion (Rolston) O'Brien and the late Robert O'Brien. She was a Registered Nurse and was formerly employed at the Moncton Hospital. Joyce was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and she served on the Nursery Committee of the church. She is survived by her husband, Curtis R. McConnell; two daughters, Christa McConnell, at home and Joan McConnell of Boyerton, Pa. USA; her mother, Marion O'Brien of Moncton; two sisters, Lillian O'Brien of Moncton and Esther Kay (Brent) of Hartland, NB; two brothers, Kenneth O'Brien (Louise) of Halifax, NS. and Charles of Moncton and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by two infant sons. There is no visitation at the Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Friesen officiating. Interment will be in Gladeside Cemetery in the spring.
