Charlene D. O'Brien SHEDIAC, NB - Charlene D. O'Brien, 60, of Shediac and Pompano Beach Florida, passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Tuesday, February 17, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Chapman) O'Brien. Charlene was an avid harness racing fan, retired from CNR as a work equipment supervisor and attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church. Charlene will be sadly missed by her sisters, Maureen Lemay, Shediac, Judy O'Brien, Brossard, Quebec; brother, Ernest O'Brien, Vancouver, BC; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Thursday, February 19, 2004, 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Friday 11:00 am, Rev. Peter McKee officiating, reception following the service. Interment in Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In Charlene's memory donations to the Dr. George Dumont Foundation (Oncology Unit) or the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
