Margaret Lerette SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Margaret Lerette, age 83, widow of Albert James (John) Lerette, of Sackville, occurred suddenly at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Jabez and Leigha (Clark) Mason. Having served in the British Army during World War II, she came to Canada as a war bride in 1950. She was a member of the Sackville Senior Citizens. A cook, she worked for many years at the Marshland's Inn in Sackville. Margaret will be sadly missed by a son, Peter (Jennifer Hunter), Halifax and a daughter Pat Lerette, Sackville; a granddaughter, Andrée and a grandson, Adam. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert James (John) Lerette and a brother, Peter. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, (364-1300) with visitation Friday from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 11 am, Rev. Father Alban Thibodeau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
