Theresa Melvin 1941 - 2004 Theresa Melvin, of Moncton, passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the age of 62 years. Born in Cherryfield, NB on June 10, 1941 she was the daughter of Laura (Landry) and the late Timothy Surrette. She had been a caregiver for many years. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her husband of 42 years, Reginald Melvin; mother, Laura of Moncton; daughter, Wendy (Keith) Soucoup of Sussex, NB; daughter-in- law, Janice Melvin of Dartmouth; sister, Debbie Budd and her husband Brian; brother, Norman Surrette and his wife Florine of Moncton; also by six grandchildren, Tara-Lee of Fredericton, Jodie, Amy and Travis of Sussex, Kayla Marie and Bree-Anna of Dartmouth; also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her son Brian Melvin in 2002. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Tuesday March 2, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Chet McPhail officiating. Interment will be in Stilesville Cemetery in the spring.
