Robert Moody MacMinn BLACKVILLE, NB - Robert Moody MacMinn, of Blackville, NB passed away February 29, 2004 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Jack and Doris (Moody) MacMinn. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was involved with coaching Minor Hockey on the Miramichi for many years. He retired from Texaco Canada in 1990 after 27 years working in Newcastle, St. John, NB and Dartmouth, NS. He is survived by his wife, Connie (MacLaughlin); sons, Robert (Tanya), Thunder Bay, Donald (Christine), Fredericton; daughter, Kathy Pyke (Rick), Halifax; sisters, Jean MacMinn and Wanda Brown, Moncton; seven grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Betty, Moncton; brother, Jack, Truro, NS. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 2 PM from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with burial in the spring. No flowers by request.
