Dale Hanford Murray RIVER GLADE, NB - Dale Hanford Murray of River Glade, passed away Friday, March 5, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Moncton, July 31, 1957 he was the son of Lewis and Anna-Joyce (Steeves) Murray. He was adherent of the River Glade Baptist Church. Dale was an assistant foreman for Hub Meat Pakers in Moncton. A former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, a manager with Petitcodiac/Salisbury Minor Hockey. Dale was an avid horseman, teamster and devoted family man. He is survived by his wife the former Gwen (Killam); his mother, Anna-Joyce Murray; his father and mother-in-law, Howard and Mary Weir; a son and daughter, Tyson and Lisa both at home; a step-daughter, Tara Geldart of Salisbury; a step-son, Timothy Geldart at home; three sisters, Susan MacNeil (Dennis) of Prosser Brook, Della Tower (Terry) of Riverview, Glendine Hicks (Scott) of Prosser Brook; two brothers, Peter (Ann) of Turtle Creek and Terry of Moncton; five brothers-in-law, Rodney Weir (Anne) of Turtle Creek, Richard Killam (Teri) of Alberta, John Jamieson (Angela) of Upper Coverdale, Wayne Killam (Maxine) of Turtle Creek and Dale Killam (Anne) of Little River; two sisters-in-law, Linda Guenette (Dennis) of Alberta and Carol Scott (Craig) of Turtle Creek; a granddaughter, BrookeLynn Taylor of Salisbury; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His father, Lewis Murray predeceased him. Visiting hours will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac on Sunday from 79pm, Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 1:00pm with Pastor Doug Howatt officiating.
