Mary A. Alward SALISBURY, NB - Mary A. Alward of Taylor's Rest Home, formerly of Kay Street, Salisbury, age 88, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Born August 15, 1915 in North River, she was a daughter of the late Lovell and Lennie (Cochrane) Taylor. She was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Ralph (Jenny) of Notre Dame, Merle (Jenny) of Salisbury; sister, Elsie Blakney (Conrad) of Salisbury; brother, Floyd Taylor (Eleanor) of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifton; a daughter, Carolyn Gillies; an infant son; sisters, Jessie Johnston, Stella Taylor, Ida MacWilliam. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Monday from 79pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 1:00 pm, Rev. P. Sherwood officiating. Burial will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
