Frederick Raymond Johnson 1931 - 2004 The death of Frederick Raymond Johnson, 72, beloved husband of Shirley (Vessey), occurred at The Moncton Hospital on March 20, 2004 following a lengthy illness. Born November 20, 1931, he was the son of Mayme (Shaffer) and (the late) Gerald Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from Eastern Bakeries, his employer of over 30 years. Fred will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley and mother, Mayme; one son, Wallace; three daughters, Deborah (Mike) Batog, Donna (Eddie) Arsenault and Kim (Brent) Butler; one stepson, Brian (Barb) Vessey; two stepdaughters, Kim Vessey and Cheryl (JC) LeBlanc; nine grandchildren and one great grandson; as well as five brothers, Lorimer, Sterling (Elizabeth), Dennis (Nancy), Michael (Linda) and James (Marla); one sister, Janet (Eugene) Orr; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, George and Gerry. No visitation by request. Funeral service is at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 24, 2003 at 2:00 pm, Rev Delbert Bannister officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Heart & Lung Foundation.
