Jack Jamieson SYDNEY, NS - Jack Dodge Jamieson, 85, of Avalon Drive, Sydney, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Monday, March 22, 2004. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late George and Alice (Dodge) Jamieson of Moncton where he spent his early life. He moved to Sydney in 1947 with his wife, Betty to manage Tip Top Tailors. Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth (Wilbur); daughter, Joan McDougall, Bedford; sons, Stuart (Minnie), Westmount, Paul (Donna), Baddeck and Ian (Frances), New Zealand; sister, Ida Stockall and brother, David, Moncton; and grandchildren, Andrew, Suzanne, Alister, Jessica, Mark and Tracy. A memorial service will take place at First United Church, Sydney on Thursday 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jack's memory may be made to VON or Palliative Care.
