J. Jean Richard NOINVILLE, NB - It is with great sadness that the children of Joseph Jean Richard of Noinville announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Monday April 5, 2004. Our father lived his life with great honesty, generosity, faith, and passed these values onto his grateful children. Born March 9, 1919 , he was the son of the late Évangeline Thibodeau and the late Narcisse Richard. He is survived by six daughters, Dianne Hanscom (Byron), Irene Goguen (Bertrand), Clara Richard-Daigle (Luc) all of Moncton, Ernestine RichardCaissie (Arthur), Germaine Richard of Dieppe, Fernande MacLeod (Ronald) of Little River; two sons, Eugène (Gisèle) of Murray Settlement, Firmin (Rose) of Moncton; two brothers, Antoine of Dieppe, Alyre of Moncton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased in 2002 by his loving wife of 56 years, Anita (Gould) Doiron; an infant daughter, Marie; two brothers, Raymond and Alphée; two sisters, Rita Maillet and Marie Breton. Remains resting at Rogersville Community Centre in Rogersville. Visiting hours Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 1 p.m. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2 p.m. from St-François-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church, Rogersville. Interment will be in Kent Junction Cemetery. The family would like to thank Drs. Renée Jean, Ceridwen Richard, and Basile Blanchard for their care and kindness during this difficult time, the wonderful nurses of the Dr. Georges-L.
