Yvon Maillet Yvon Maillet, 77, of Cambridge Street, Moncton, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2004 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born October 14, 1926 in SainteMarie, he was the son of the late Antoine and Marie-Jeanne (Babineau) Maillet. He was a retired employee with Coop Atlantic and a member of the Parkton Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Géraldine (Girouard) Maillet; six children, Alfred (Dorothy), Vern (Linda), Clarence (Cheryl), Gilles (Annette) and Terrance all of Moncton, Diane Denis (Serge) of Ottawa; a sister, Lina LeBlanc (late Éric) of Sainte-Marie; three brothers, Lionel (Léa) and Gérard (Roseline) both of Saint-Antoine, Alderice (Laurise) of Irishtown; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a son, Gérald, an infant Vernon; two sisters, Marie, and Irene; four brothers, Rev. Alfred, Ernest, Baptiste and Eddy. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Thursday from 7-9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8h45 until time of departure (9:30).
