Laurie J. Gallant 1926 - 2004 Laurie J. Gallant, 77, of Kinnear Rd., Grand-Barachois passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, April 8, 2004, Born November 4, 1926 in Robichaud, he was the son of the late Louis Gallant and the late Agnes Bourque. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with D.N.D., Supply Depot # 5 in Moncton with 35 years of service. He attended St-Henri Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Golden Age Club in Grand-Barachois. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of fifty six years, Andréa (LeBlanc) Gallant; his two daughters, Lucille Gaudet and Gisèle Gallant both of Grand-Barachois; four sons, Maurice (Nancy), Ronald (Claire) and Michel all of Grand-Barachois, Jean (Kathy) of Halifax; four sisters, Alvina Boudreau, Alma Léger, Imelda Landry (Clorice) and Thilda Robichaud (Ronaldo) all of Grand-Barachois; two brothers, Walter (Flora) and Emery (Lorraine) all of Grand-Barachois; 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two daughters, Lucille and Huguette; a son, Gérald; two sisters, Laura and Maria and by two brothers, Ernest and Clairice. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Easter Sunday from 2 to 4p.m and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday from 9:30a.m. until time of departure at 10:35a.m. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 12, 2004 at 11a.m. at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois .
