Henry Cormier

Henry Cormier 1934 - 2004 At the Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, in Moncton, Saturday, April 10, 2004, at the age of 69 years old, passed away Henry Cormier, husband of Eleanor Shaddick, residing in Moncton. Born May 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Camille Cormier and the late Juliette Goguen. Mr. Cormier is survived by one daughter, Nicole Wells from Moncton; one step son, Micheal Lynds from Fredericton; four brothers, Raymond Cormier (Bertha) from Dieppe, Paul Cormier (Theresa), Roger Cormier (Lucienne) and Ronald Cormier, all three from Moncton; two sisters, Dorilla LeBlanc (late Yvon) from Moncton and Camilla Gallant (Thomas) from Dieppe; three grandchildren, Alex, Dylan and Alyssa, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Cormier was predeceased by one sister, Doris. Before his retirement at the age of 65, Henry was a dedicated sales representative for R.D. MacLeon Ltd, covering the Atlantic Provinces. Always being an active and social individual, he was a Scout leader, member of L'Assomption Band, Knights of Columbus council #1310 and in his later years, was past president of People's Park Tower Seniors Club, NB Senior Citizen's Federation, Hub Tone Singers, People's Park Tower & Camden Chapel Committee and many Fund Raisers. Family and friends will be received at Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street in Moncton, this Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Moncton, Wednesday, April 14 at 10 am . Visiting hours: Tuesday, April 13 from 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. George-L. Dumont Foundation, Oncology Department, will be appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Cooperative of Shediac Bridge. (532-1050 - 1 888 532-1050)
