Flora M. Higgins Flora M. Higgins, 89, of Salisbury and formerly of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday April 13, 2004. Born in Moncton, daughter of the Late Wendell and Bessie Sherwood. Flora was a former employee of N.B. Tel and K-Mart, Moncton. Member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, for over 66 years, member of Autumn Club, and served in various other capacities within her church, member of Zetland Chapter # 26 OES, Shediac for over 25 years. Her hobbies were collecting Royal Doulton pieces and spoons. Flora will be sadly missed by her husband of over 60 years, John (Jock) S.T. Higgins; Grandsons, Mark (Julie), and their daughter, Faith, Second North River, John W. (Tammy), Salinas, CA; Niece, Ronnie Meadows (Dean) and their daughter, Tradina Meadows of Moncton. Flora was predeceased by her son; John C.L. Higgins (1998); brothers, Clifford, Ronald and Bliss Sherwood. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Thursday, 7 to 9, Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Zetland OES Memorial Service Friday, 6:45pm. Funeral Service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Park St. Saturday, April 17, 2004, 1pm. Reception following the service. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
