Bernetta Nellie Sherrard BOOM ROAD, NB - The death of Bernetta Nellie Sherrard, widow of John T. Sherrard of Boom Road, NB, occurred at her late residence on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the age of 90. Born in Whitneyville, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Rosie (Allison) Whitney. She was a Homemaker and attended St. Philip's United Church, Whitney. Survived by four daughters, Geraldine (Mrs. William Fitzpatrick) of Boom Road, NB, Lorna (Mrs. Douglas Connell) of Newcastle, NB, Minerva (Mrs. Aubrey Murray) of Orilla, ON and Yvonne (Mrs. Vincent Trites) of Strathadam, NB; four sons, Russell (Rene) of Scarborough, ON, Vernon of Boom Road, Wilson (Saroj) of Ajax, ON and Brent (Alma) of Red Bank, NB; two sisters, Margaret Rose (Mrs. Lorne Tozer) of Whitney, NB and Myrtle (Mrs. Jackson Baisley) of Brampford, ON; five brothers, Elwin of Thunder Bay, ON, Ernest (Gertrude) of Whitney, NB, Lawrence (Bessie) of Douglastown, Tim (Christine) of Whitney, Hubert (Alma) of Whitney; 27 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Margaret and two brothers, Wilson and George. Family will receive at Bell's Funeral Home, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held from the St. Stephen's United Church, Red Bank, NB on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating. Burial will take place in St. Philip's United Church Cemetery later in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Philip's United Church Memorial Fund.
