Robert Earle "Ron" MacGarvie 1928 - 2004 Robert Earle "Ron" MacGarvie, 75, of Julia Court, Shediac passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Atholville, July 26, 1928, he was the son of the late John Robert MacGarvie and the late May Evylen Thompson. He served with the R.C.A.F. for 26 years from September 1952 to October 1978. He was employed with the D.N.D. from 1980 until his retirement in 1991 after 11 years of service. Ron will be sadly missed by his wife Bessie Theresa (Fougere) MacGarvie, three daughters, Sandra Joan Anderson (Mac) of Barrie, ON., Debra Ann MacGarvie (Dean Hopewell) of Kinburn, ON., Donna Lynn Glover of Ottawa, ON.; three sisters, Lillian LeBlanc of Campbelton, Queenie McDonald and Susan Bryenton both of Miramichi and five grandchildren, Blair Anderson, Sheryl Anderson, Scott Anderson, Jennifer Parker, Megan Glover. He was predeceased by a sister Doris Jardine and a brother Stanley MacGarvie. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 19, 2004 at St. Martin's in the Woods Church, Shediac Cape. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac.
