Elsie I. P. Lockhart PETITCODIAC, NB - Elsie I. P. Lockhart of Petitcodiac, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital at the age of 94. Born in Petitcodiac on June 15, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Lyla (Fawcett) Lockhart. She retired from N.B. Tel as a manager and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Elsie was a member of St. James United Church and the Church Choir, a former secretary for the Sunday School. She was also a life member of the U.C.W. and an avid gardener. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours by request. The funeral service will be held from St. James United Church, Petitcodiac on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Following the service there will be a reception in the Church hall. The interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. James United Church or memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
