Douglas Francis Joseph Ryan 1947 - 2004 Douglas F. J. Ryan, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 19, 2004 at the age of 57 years. Born in Moncton on March 21, 1947 he was the son of Louise (LeBlanc) and the late Francis Ryan. He was a mechanic at Dewares Service Center in Moncton for several years. Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Shelly (Ziad) Rizk of Kingston, ON; son, Michael Ryan of Toronto; grandchildren, Emma and Ryan Rizk of Kingston, ON; also by brothers Reginald Ryan of Moncton and Bernard Ryan of Montreal. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Jane Lawlor in 1977, and his common-law wife, Merita Durelle in 2003. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at 11:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. Interment will be held in Baie St. Anne in the spring.
