John Ward Pierce 1933 - 2004 BAYFIELD, N.B.- John (Jack) W. Pierce, age 71, of Bayfield, N.B., passed away at The Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, N.B. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Born on January 12, 1933, in Moncton, N.B., he was the son of the late John and Jennie (Ward) Pierce. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marion (Bell) Pierce of Bayfield, N.B.; two daughters, Claire Wood of Charlottetown, PEI and Florence (Kenneth) LeBlanc of Cape Spear, N.B.; two sons, Harry Pierce of Bayfield, N.B. and Kenneth (Pamela) of Bayfield, N.B.; two brothers, David of Calgary, Alberta and Peter (Darlene) of Quispamsis, N.B.; nephew, Andrew Pierce and niece, Carla Martell; six grandchildren, Lance and Jennie LeBlanc, Christopher, Laura, Morgan and Molly Pierce and great granddaughter, Gracie. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Bill Wood. John was retired from CNR and Marine Atlantic. He was a past member of the Westmorland Masonic Lodge #44 and a member of the Fort Monckton Chapter #11 Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A private memorial service for family only will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004 from Campbell's Funeral Home with Rev. Mary MacRae Belliveau officiating. Burial will take place in the Bayfield Cemetery. Donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Cape Tormentine United Church or to the charity of ones choice.
