Yvonnie Gallant Yvonnie Gallant, 92, wife of the late Edmond Gallant, of Tenth Street, Moncton, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at her residence. Born September 15, 1911 in McDougall Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred, and Zélica (McGraw) Goguen. She is survived by six children, Léonard (Ethel) of Oshawa, Juliette Gallant, Hector (Angela), Wilfred (Lorraine), Roméo (Bonnie), Rose-Marie Gallant (Georges) all of Moncton; two sisters, Alexina Lang of Saint-John, Marie Goguen of Moncton; a brother, Eloi Goguen of Moncton; two half-brothers, Yvon Poirier and Alyre Poirier of Cocagne; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Marjorie. Besides her husband, Edmond (1997); a son, Euclide (2003); her stepfather, Albert Poirier; a sister, Viola Noël; a brother, Placide and a grandson Paul predeceased her. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2004 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
